The above officers do not represent the full number of Colored men who were commissioned in the United States Army, however. In the series of Officers, Training Camps which were conducted after the draftees were called to service, 107 were commissioned in Infantry from various camps, and 33 in Artillery from Camp Zachary Taylor, Louisville, Kentucky.
