Courtesy of Ian Jones (icj@chavasse.u-net.com), this photograph shows the new monument right beside the Mersey to those men who fell during the Raid on Zeebrugge. The engraving says:

To the Memory of the Officer and Men of the 4th Battalion Royal Marines, the Royal Marines Artillery and the Royal Naval Landing parties who gave their lives in the Raid on Zeebrugge on St George's Day 23rd April 1918. They went into this Action aboard HMS Vindictive and the Wallasey Ferryboats Iris and Daffodil.
